public transportation

From Haarlem station or Hoofddorp station, bus 340 runs to the museum every 5 minutes in 15 or 10 minutes respectively. Get off at the stop ‘Cruquiusbrug’, right next to the museum. Check www.9292ov.nl for the route.

car and free parking

Cruquius Museum is located next to the junction of the N201 and the Ringvaart/Cruquiusdijk. The N201 can be followed to Cruquiusdijk from both Haarlem-Heemstede and Hoofddorp-Aalsmeer.

Coming from Heemstede, drive past the pumping station until the first junction (Spieringweg). Make a U-turn there and drive back towards the pumping station. Just before the Cruquius bridge, turn right onto Cruquiusdijk, and immediately after the Theehuis Cruquius, turn right towards the free and spacious car park.
When leaving, it is not possible to return to the N201 due to work on the Cruquius bridge. Therefore, follow the route via Vijfhuizen.

jetty

Cruquius Museum has its own jetty on the Ringvaart canal. Mooring is free when visiting the museum. Without visiting the museum, we ask for a contribution for maintenance. Read more.
In both cases, please report your arrival with your name and the name of the boat by calling 023 52 857 04.

disabled

The pumping station is accessible for the disabled. A walker and wheelchair are available in the museum and there is a stair lift from the entrance in the pumping station to the 1st floor, and from the 1st floor (max 225 kilos) to the engine room.

From the car park, take the path to the Cruquius Pavilion for ticket sales and instruction. We will be happy to help you with your visit.
